OMG, OMG,OMG!!! They killed Charlie. Someone had mentioned that one of characters would die on Breakout Kings, but I almost didn't believe them. Then half way through the episode, I couldn't remember his interview for the second season.
I have no words, none. WTF, how could you do this?
Just saw the nastiest episode of Criminal Minds. Seriously dude, you were killing people and then serving them at your BBQ restaurant... GROSS.
Anya, I love your collection and I know you're technically not supposed to win, but I want you to. There, I said it.
I loved Kimberly's collection as well, Victor's was well made, but extremely commercial. I don't know what the hell Josh did, but he did have a few cute pieces.
EDIT: OMG congrats Anya!!!! Just like Michael said she has a distinct brand, I would buy all her stuff.
UPDATE: Ok, still having problems accessing lj. One minute I'm on and the next I can't post or comment.
Ok weird, double post. Not sure what's going on anymore.
So I feel like I'm the only that couldn't get livejournal to work for the last to two days. I log on today and there are tons of entries in my comms and my friends page was out of control. On the other hand I guess I did get some other things done that I probably would have ignored had I been online.
Tell Fred, Frank, or whatever that goat's is name to stay away from the wires.
It's getting close to my four year anniversary. In July it will be exactly four years since my last relaxer. It's completely grown out and now I rock a 'fro. I love it, I mean absolutely LOVE it!!!
It's funny, if you asked me then how I felt about going natural, I'd give an optimistic answer, but I was scared. I would try to be brave, list all the reasons for my decision, both logical and emotional, but I was still scared. I had all these people lecturing me about cutting my hair, when so many others were trying to grow it, weave it to achieve it, etc. There were definitely a lot of people who were negative about the whole process and now some of those same people are natural as well.
I have no regrets, except I wish I had done it a little bit sooner. I've wanted to go natural since my freshman year of college, but I really let others and my attachment to my long, straight hair discourage me. It would have been awesome to transition in college, where everyone seems to know someone who braids or has some hair expertise. My hair journey could've been a little bit easier, but maybe I wasn't ready.
So whether it's straight, curly, long, short, relaxed, natural, weaved, braided, a wig... as long as it's your choice, then it's beautiful. Do your thing and be happy.
Happy 4th Anniversary/Hairversary to me!!!
I saw Super 8 last night and I'm kinda disappointed. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it didn't deliver. I'm thinking my expectations were a little too high since J.J Abrams and Steven *freaking* Spielberg were involved.
It's not a bad movie, the kids were great and there were definitely funny moments, but it doesn't fit with their "brand." I don't think I'll be talking about any iconic moments from this movie ten years from now.
